Aston university prospectus

Aston University required a new creative concept for their prospectus and supporting student
magazine. Using a long copy execution, the concept for the front cover of the prospectus describes
and points out the negatives of a half hearted enthusiasm on higher education. Summing up with the
term 'ISH'... 'I have written 1000ISH words for my essay'

The story concludes by encouraging the reader to do 'More than ISH... Astonish”…
by enrolling on a course at Aston University.

The theme carries through to the four departments of the university using other ways
to show the 'Do more than ISH' concept. Publish, Establish, Flourish and Accomplish.

University open day creative

To create a bit of buzz and give Aston University more presence at career fairs and University open days, this supporting
concept is for large, oversized prop prospectus’ to be produced and used as door stops. Strengthening the theme of the
prospectus creative and create a physical focal point at functions. The prop prospectus’ are then backed up by posters
placed on the propped open door stating that a degree from Aston University opens a lot of doors.

 

Concept for the student magazine “Astonish”
